Re: nothing to download

Hello, pd3lkn,

I had a similar problem some time ago.
My solution was simple. The browser I normally use had the setting 'block pop-ups'. I changed that to 'allow'.

John

Yes, tobydude, it is- but only if you have already a WD data base active (in your case) in another web site or your own computer.

Re: Too much data in the DB ?

Yes, Martin, it seems a bit complicated, even though it is not. I found that reading through that part of the Wiki until I understood which parts needed were important. I was fortunate as it worked first time. :)

As I said last time, good luck.

Re: Too much data in the DB ?

Hello, Martin,

This might help:
http://www.meteotemplate.com/web/wiki/wiki4GB.php

On the left side select Data Import (if it is not already). You might find what you are seeking there.

Good luck,

Read that post, eracerhead.

It seems that the files involved have been corrupted at the Meteotemplate end.

Good luck, and let us all know the result.

Hello again, Davide,

Was this necessary? My site has been behaving as it should. I do though use meteorological seasons. The setting for that is at the very bottom of the main setup page.

Re: Blocks automatic installation

Sorry, Davide, but I do not have time. I have over 500 e-mails awaiting my attention. It's also a long weekend here - which means children and grandchildren cluttering up the place. Attached, if you have the time, is a copy of my file - which is the original. Let us know your results, Davide, as it ...

Re: Blocks automatic installation

Hello, Davide, What do you mean by 'blocks automatic installation'? As far as my aging mind can recall there is no such thing. It is about 04:25 my time as I type, so please forgive my fuzzy brain should I have missed the obvious. ************* Ah! It is now an hour or so later. I think that I under...

Re: Loading Meteo Station Data in Server Folders

Hello, MatteoCarnelos, No, you will find nothing by searching your meteotemplate files. The database 'alldata' is different matter. This is a database used normally for the input and retrieval of information. It will need your host site to support a database. Then read the Wiki here http://www.meteo...

Hello, Martin,

As best I can gather your elevation is set in the Meteotemplate main menu in the Station Location section. Unfortunately my station is exactly 240 metres asl so I cannot comment further.

G'day, griffo,

The BoM Oz radar stopped working properly some time ago. I had a bit of a fiddle with the code but being but a tyro when it comes to PHP, I failed. I took it off my web site. :(

Hello again, Tom,

http://www.meteotemplate.com/web/extras.php# Select the "Stand Alone Scripts" from the left-hand menu and follow your nose from there.

There's an option for those using Cumulus. Mine is for Weather Display.

Have fun sorting it out to suit your needs. :|

Re: Why do my current reading not show up

Sorry I'm so late, Tom, When you upgraded to v18.0 from your initial version did you do it in steps - i.e. version by version? It is important that you do so, as each version is reliant on the previous one. Incidentally, you asked on another thread if the steel series of gauges work on v18.0. I can ...

Re: Why do my current reading not show up

Hello, Tom, Firstly, you might have put the correct link to your site: http://www.ridgerun.us/template/ Secondly, your site advises me that you have not registered the site, although that might not affect your 'missing information' it would be a polite action to take. Thirdly, by crikey the site is ...

Re: Steel Gauges wind direction

I decided this afternoon, Martin, to have a bit of a look around. If you go to - using your favourite FTP programme - template/homepage/blocks/ssGauges/scripts you will find within a file named gauges.php Download that file and save a copy. I'm sure you know that! Open that file using your favourite...

Re: Steel Gauges wind direction

Hello, Martin, Undoubtedly it is possible, if you can get to and then modify the source ssGauges files themselves, but why bother? The gauges for current wind direction only show 16 compass points and they are reflected in the top digital display. The average for the calendar day is shown in the low...

Re: Tide Height (tides) block

Yes, Simon, This block became inoperative quite some time ago. I played around with it for a while, on-and-off, but could not find a way to solve the issue. Perhaps it was an API matter. I cannot remember what or if Jáchym gave us an explanation. The block was removed from my site as being a useless...
