Re: Meteotemplate - future - major redesign

Great to hear from you Jachym,

I hope you’re fully recovered from COVID and I’m glad to see that you’re still working on Meteotemplate.

I look forward to the next MT generation!

Re: New WeatherFlow Tempest icon

Than you Davidefa, I finally got there! For owners of the WeatherFlow Tempest weather station, I have attached all the files you need to replace. 1. Replace station.png in your /icons directory with the new file attached. 2.If you use the Stickers plugin, navigate to /plugins/stickers and replace st...

Re: New WeatherFlow Tempest icon

As meteotemplate uses css mapping, I think that only the first part of the 'table' ( css class mapping ) is important Your screenshots show the icon set mapped with the names used in Meteotemplate. Mine show the images but no names, just “meteotemplate-0”, “meteotemplate-1”... etc. Do I have to ren...

Re: New WeatherFlow Tempest icon

I've managed to load all 225 attached icons into Fontastic, and created a new svg icon for the Tempest (using Convertio). How do I now get this new Tempest icon into the mticon set? Do I have to add it, then manually rename all 226 fonts as per the attached icons-reference.html, then download them a...

Thanks for this, I will have a good look when I have some time.

What do you mean by this costing a shed load of money? How much are we talking about?

Re: New WeatherFlow Tempest icon

I don’t want to change my sticker. I am setting up a new MT website with a Tempest station I am evaluating, and want the icon displayed throughout that site, as it is with the Vue icon in my WessexWeather site.

Problem is MT doesn’t have a built-in Tempest icon.

New WeatherFlow Tempest icon

I have created new light and dark transparent Tempest weatherstation icons.

Can anyone tell me how I can get them into my site, preferably as a mticon? I have replaced and renamed “station.png” with the new icon but nothing has changed.

WeatherFlow plugin

Hi Jachym, Would it be possible to create a plug-in that pulls data from the WeatherFlow API, much like you have done with the Netatmo plugin? I would love to be able to create a separate Meteotemplate installation for my WeatherFlow Tempest. Another option would be if Boris allowed more than one in...

Re: UK Warnings Block

Apparently the errors are due to an error caused by the retirement of Adobe Flash, which has affected submission of the warnings from the Met Office to Meteoalarm. A fix is underway as we speak, so hang in there!

Re: UK Warnings Block

Yes I've noticed the same. Perhaps the data source has changed?

I've also noticed that the warningsEUregions block no longer displays UK weather warnings. Brexit perhaps?

It would be nice to get one or both of these important blocks working...

Re: Meteotemplate - future - major redesign

Hi Jachym, As one of your longest-standing users, you know that I have always loved customisation, and still use the customised mobile and desktop websites which I think work very well. I am a bit late to this party and only submitted the questionnaire yesterday. However, having read your thought pr...

Only just become aware of this problem affecting my site too. Has anyone found a workaround, or is it best just to remove the plugin? Re: Hompage Layout changed during update

I think it’s because Jachym is planning on making the Desktop page responsive. My page works fine on a desktop but on my iPad in portrait the first column is displayed followed by the second column underneath. When I turn to landscape and refresh the page, my desktop layout displays as I intended. T...

Re: How do I secure my Meteotemplate site? (https)

I have also given Cloudflare another try, and like you it seems to be working perfectly. I’ve ensured any insecure blocks are hidden in Menu Blocks so that when the page first displays it is secure. It’s only when you open those blocks that the padlock disappears. How did you manage to secure the in...

"No weather network traffic" since installing Meteobridge 4.3 build 13509

Help! I rebooted my Meteobridge today (29th May) to Meteobridge 4.3 (May 29 2020, build 13509), FW 1.4, and now no data is being transferred to Meteotemplate or any of my cloud services. I have tried rebooting the device several times, as well as my router, and am at a loss what do do next. Can anyo...

Re: How do I secure my Meteotemplate site? (https)

I got Cloudflare working properly now. I had the path set incorrectly on the setup.php page. It had the "https://", but I needed to remove "www." in order to get the website to display correctly and get rid of the Error 404 messages. Are you sure it’s working flawlessly? I thought Cloudflare’s slow...

Re: How do I secure my Meteotemplate site? (https)

Hi Vince, Many thanks for the reply. I don’t believe my host (Jolt) issues LetsEncrypt certificates as a package, but wish it did. I tried setting up a LetsEncrypt certificate manually, which I couldn’t get to work properly, and Cloudflare which was even worse. I’ll try and contact my host and see i...
