Re: Nice url/picture on Facebook.
Nice. Can you make me one? :) Not really, it requires admin access to your meteotemplate installation, plus the ability to load files to your server. It is easy to do though, 1. Load the stickers plugin in meteotemplate. 2. Create a text file called "sig.js" and paste this code in it, cha...

Re: Nice url/picture on Facebook.
ok I figured it out. Along with the previous sig.js file above, my .htaccess has - <IfModule mod_headers.c> Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*" </IfModule> redirect /sig.gif http://weather.westfamilynj.net/meteo/plugins/stickers/stickerInteractive.php?text=Observatory%20West,%20Suss...

Re: Nice url/picture on Facebook.
My signature is actually a gif image that can be shared on FB (http://weather.westfamilynj.net/sig.gif), I just need to remember how I automated the process of saving the sticker php as a gif. **edit It is actually a javascript file, that when the sig.gif is loaded, actually displays the signature b...

Re: Template, Meteobridge & database troubles
Ok, I added my ObserverIP to Meteobridge along side the GW-100 and figured out my Meteobridge is sending air quality as PP0 instead of PP1. I updated the mapping to mirror PP0 to PP1 and Meteotemplate is working again. With the help of Davidefa, I now am logging everything that the api receives to t...

Re: Template, Meteobridge & database troubles
Thanks, I should know in a minute if it made a difference. I deleted the ecowitt log from cache so if a new one appears I will know it at least tried.

Re: Template, Meteobridge & database troubles
Yes, my GW1000 refuses to use the information in the customized weather service. The Ecowitt log was created when I manually loaded the index.php in a web browser.

Re: Ecowitt lightning detector
Thanks, I have WSView and the plugin set up that way. When I did the test - http://weather.westfamilynj.net/meteo/a ... =10<=yyy, I did get the expected "success" and 1 lightning strike shows up in the lightning block. I just can't convince the GW1000 to automatically connect to my s...

Re: Ecowitt lightning detector
If you only have AW/ecowitt sensors you could use your gw1000 custom server option to upload to your meteotemplate server ( via raffaello di martino's plugin which I slightly modified ). This will upload all your aw/ecowitt sensor ( including lighning sensor ) I was using your 2.6b, I see you have ...

Re: Ecowitt lightning detector
What are you using to 'send data to meteotemplate' ? Are you using meteobridge? I'm asking this because those using meteobridge are having troubles ( according to meteobridge forum ) uploading their lightning data. Thanks, I am using a Meteobridge. Even though the lightning data shows up on the liv...

Re: Ecowitt lightning detector
First of all you have to make sure your meteobridge is passing to meteotemplate the required fields: L, LD, LT. You can check the meteobridge logs or the meteotemplate logs ( for example the cache/apiLog.txt should be similar to the attached one ) I'd love to know how you got this to work, I follow...

Template, Meteobridge & database troubles
Good afternoon, Weather data source - Ecowitt GW-1000 Meteotemplate data source - Meteobridge 5.2 PHP version on the server - 4.7 I noticed that my air quality block that used to receive PP1 data from my Meteobridge stopped reporting. After digging into my SQL server, I see the last time that the da...

I can't really help with the https part, but thought I'd say hi from a fellow NJ Meteotemplate user.

Re: Adding Additional Sensors to the Extra Table Setup
Andy, It is good that the Extra #8 shows up in the Meteobridge live areas, but then I would expect it to show up in Meteotemplatelive.txt. I need to do some testing, I don't know if the meteotemplatelive text is created showing all data received via the meteobridge process before meteotemplate posts...

Re: Adding Additional Sensors to the Extra Table Setup
Hi Andy, Does the live data tab of your Meteobridge show Extra sensor #8 in either the "Live Data" area in the center, or down below in the Historical Data area? Mike OK, I solved one of my problems. In apiSetup.php line numbers, 1168 and 1195 also needed to be changed to "for($i=1;$i...

Re: Adding Additional Sensors to the Extra Table Setup
There is a good AQI info at https://www.epa.gov/sites/production/files/2014-05/documents/zell-aqi.pdf, the actual calculation is on page 25. I am using the GW1000 like you I am guessing for the PM2.5 sensor and can't find the formula how they are converting ug/m3 to AQI reading. I need to do a lot m...

Re: Adding Additional Sensors to the Extra Table Setup
Hi Andy, For the temp/humidity, it is actually 2 blocks put together, "multipleBlock(extraT,50;extraH,50)". Too easy. When I look at my meteobridge output, the sensor id it uses for indoor is different than the extra sensors. I can confirm this by using the WS View app, and the live data p...

Re: PartnerStation Block - Fixes for WU API Changes
Thanks for this, I will be implementing it on my site soon. Quick question - are you using a custom RadarUS block? I like how yours includes the WU and visible satellite images but that does not appear in the stock block. If so, do you mind sharing? thx Mike Hello All, ... Maybe this might be of use...

Re: Adding Additional Sensors to the Extra Table Setup
Hi Andy, My PHP editing skills are very rudimentary :) You should see my failures/works in progress, the forum has a few of them littered around. I am using the stock extra temp/hum blocks that are available from the main block installation page and didn't have to make any adjustments to those, they...

New Particulate Monitor Block attached
While I was fixing the api files to allow more than 4 temp/humidity sensors in the extra sensor table, I went ahead and created a block that will read PM2.5 data from the extra sensor table, if you have the sensor. I used the gust icon, I put a PM icon in the attached zip but never could figure out ...

Re: Adding Additional Sensors to the Extra Table Setup
Ok, I figured out how to do this! Attached is a zip file with 2 files in it, I have edited then to allow for 8 extra temp sensors, and 8 extra humidity sensors :) If you look at my site, http://weather.westfamilynj.net/meteo/indexDesktop.php, the bottom right has my extra Temp & Humidity reading...

Adding Additional Sensors to the Extra Table Setup
Hello, I upgraded my weather station to a hybrid model that supports 8 extra temp/humidity sensors through 3 separate devices (Ambient Weather ObserverIP, AW WS-2000, and Ecowitt GW-1000, the GW-1000 is what is used by my DIY Meteobridge currently, which powers the Meteotemplate), and unfortunately ...

Added Particulate Monitor data to Station Data - kind of
I tried to build off the excellent work of azchrisf where he added the UV information to the station data block and add particulate monitor data. I have the Ambient Weather PM25, and its data is being pushed by my DIY Meteobridge to the extra sensors table, and reflects as "PP1"' in the me...

Cloned block image zoom problem
I have cloned the standard Webcam block to be able to load multiple images in several other blocks. If you go to my site, weather.westfamilynj...
