Re: New Server

davidefa,

Thanks so much. I disabled server cache and that took care of the issue. The API is called every 2 seconds by WeeWx by using the loop of the Davis station. I don't think it can be changed or I don't know how. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Jay

New Server

I changed my station to a Virtual Private server. Copied all the files, used the same file structure and now the template opening page is current only the first time I open it. Database info doesn't update, Current Conditions wont ajax update. The Steel Series gauges are updating correctly. I know t...

meteocharleroi,

I am sorry. I don't know how Doug handled that issue. Maybe he will chime in here and let you know.

Re: Data import tribulations

meteocharleroi,

If you follow the instructions the import should work.

Be careful with the date, time formats. If you have specific problems then post the error messages.

Love the Los Osos area. When did the Sculptured Egg close? Loved that place.

Re: Data import tribulations

Doug,

Glad I could help, and especially glad you could get the import to work. The Template is a great piece of work by Jachym and I have enjoyed being part of the ride since the beginning.

Take care and stay safe,

Re: Data import tribulations

Doug,

I'm not sure where to go from here. The only other thing I can suggest to try is if you are willing to message me your credentials to log in to your weather site I can try it from here. Hard to know without seeing it live.

Re: Data import tribulations

Doug,

OK. I think I figured it out. On your screenshot of the Date and Time Format you have "n/j/y H.i" it should be "n/j/y H:i" Notice the colon. You have a period. I was able to import directly from your link, no issues.

Re: Data import tribulations

Doug, I think the problem is the header rows in the csv file. I was able to get the test import to work without error. I downloaded your csv file opened it in a spreadsheet and deleted the top rows except the title row. Here are the test import results. You are going to have a problem with wind dire...

Re: Data import tribulations

Doug, You are correct. I was mistaken in my post. It has been awhile since I did my import. If you can provide a link to your data i would be happy to give it a try. I would only be using the test import feature on my site. I can then let you know my discoveries. I was also thinking that if the quot...

Re: Data import tribulations

I think you are putting an "n" in the place for month. It should be"m". Try that and then we'll work on the pressure.

Re: Help with Cumulus data import.

Tom,
I never really had to do this. I was helping Charl with his. I think that Cumulus creates the files and you use the import feature in Meteotemplate. As I recall each month needs to imported seperatly.

Hope this helps.

Jachym, Glad to see you are still checking in. Haven't heard from you for awhile. I too am disappointed that Darksky has decided to go the way of Weather Underground. I would not like to see the forecast capability go away on my site. We are lucky in the US to have freely available forecast data. My...

Re: Android App Brainstorming

Pol-Brieuc, This needs to be fixed in the app. Android does not allow cleartext by default any longer. This may be needed in the Android Manifest. App.appendToConfig(` <edit-config file="AndroidManifest.xml" target="/manifest/application" mode="merge"> <application andr...
