Re: Labels for Gauges on gaugesBlock

Ah good point. I can search there as well. All because I installed the UV and radiation sensors this weekend and when updating the block, I noticed how Feels like and Dew point don't have both words capitalized....I wish I could ignore it but I can't. :D

Re: Labels for Gauges on gaugesBlock

@John, thanks for that thread link. Unfortunately it still does not point to exactly where the terms are being pulled from. @BlueBear, I looked in the lang file. I think they may be pulled from there, but if so, I would like to find the code that changes the case. All the terms in there are lower ca...

Labels for Gauges on gaugesBlock

Where do the actual embedded labels pull from on this block? For instance, the Apparent Temperature block as a label of "Feels like", and the Dew Point block has a label of "Dew point". I've searched through each piece of code for this block but I can not figured out where these ...

Re: Unable to pull data from NWS sites via https

And another update...so I was able to find an old nwsforecastcache.txt file (don't ask why I had the copy...). I put it in the cache folder, refreshed the site, and it disappeared. This makes sense since the file was more than 60 minutes (about 18 months..) old. So, I opened it in notepad and then s...

Re: Unable to pull data from NWS sites via https

I was just able to get the usSPC block to work. I reinstalled it (yet again), but this time directly from the Admin->blocks page. I tried doing the same thing with the AFD and NWS blocks, but they did not work. I also reinstalled the uvForecast block (did not fix it), because for some reason it alwa...

Re: Unable to pull data from NWS sites via https

ISP? Guess that is possible. I have AT&T fiber. It's either that or Time Warner Cable around here. I would love to point the finger at them if I had some way to prove it

Jachym, any idea if the other user has a similar setup to me? (at minimum, a personally hosted server)

Re: Unable to pull data from NWS sites via https

The SPC and NWS blocks have cache folders that are empty, and the AFD block does not even have a cache folder. So, no files being created..

Re: Unable to pull data from NWS sites via https

URL is southwakeweather.com Take a look in the columns on the page. The SPC (left column) is just blank besides the option to select which day you want to view. The forecast discussion (middle) just shows "Area Forecast Discussion N/A" And the NWS forecast (right column) shows "NWS Fo...

Unable to pull data from NWS sites via https

All, after Jachym's updates to the various NWS related blocks, they will will not work for me. Jachym has looked at my site and determined that there is nothing wrong with it from his end, as I knew there would not be. I have tried manually reinstalling the blocks to no avail. I can access all of th...

Re: SPC block issue

Hm, I get server not found when I try to access those URL's. In fact, when I try to access the SPC website through weather.gov, I get the same thing. Between this block and the other NWS blocks, NWS really messed up what Jachym has created.

Re: US NWS Change Breaks Forecast & Discussion Blocks - Easy Fix

Thank you for that. I tried it, but for some reason, it still does not work. Doesn't make much sense, but I will just let it be for now. When Jachym has a moment to look at the main issue, I know he will push out a fix for all of the affected blocks. If NWS would stop making changes, we wouldn't be ...

Re: US NWS Change Breaks Forecast & Discussion Blocks - Easy Fix

I just tried this for both the forecast discussion as well as nws forecast blocks, but it did not work for either. Has anyone else had the issue? It is not cache related.

I know it is the source. Didn't want to make it seem like it was MT. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one dealing with it.

Re: Devices not redirected to mobile site

I did save it, although I have forgotten before, so it wasn't a bad suggestion. Jachym, given the devices I mentioned above with the resolutions, should I just try to set that number even higher? I tested it all the way up to 2600.... I am not too concerned about how it ends up coming up on the iPad...

Re: Devices not redirected to mobile site

Thanks, Tom. It's odd, because no matter what pixel count I set them to, nothing redirects. Currently set at 1600 and 900. If you could, would you mind testing it? Southwakeweather.com

Devices not redirected to mobile site

I (finally) made the change in the Main Settings to redirect phones and tablets to my mobile site, using Jachym's fixed page. However, neither my Samsung GS6 nor my wife's iPad 4 redirect. Currently, I have both redirect settings set to "yes", hi and low-res devices set to 0px (default), a...

Yes, while not reading those specific articles, I have done those steps. There are actually more detailed steps to perform, including entering the FQDN, which should correspond to the DNS MX record.

Re: Unable to receive notification emails

Yeah, my issue is not related to the fix you are working on, Jachym. I know it has nothing to do with MT. It is related to my server, and the fact that the virtual SMTP server is not setup correctly. I never really cared about it til now, and now that I know I can't get it to work, it is annoying me...

Unable to receive notification emails

For those of you running your own IIS server (I know this is not many), were you able to successfully setup the vSMTP server to be able to receive notification/warning emails from your meteotemplate site? I have searched as many tutorials as I can, but I cannot get it to work, thus I have never been...

Re: Feature Request - Setting to allow email notification based on multiple parameters

Pol-Brieuc, that sounds awesome. Yes, the other plugin would still be needed, but this sounds like a good start. I purchased a Belkin Wemo switch and installed that in front of the heater switch, so now I can at least turn on the heater from anywhere in the world and not have to leave it on when it ...

Re: Feature Request - Setting to allow email notification based on multiple parameters

Doing some research, it looks like Weather Display allows push notifications via email or SMS. Does anybody have experience using this? If so, maybe I will go this route, as I do not want to complicate or cause issues for you Jachym, especially with confusing people with new settings and whatnot. Ju...
