Multiple Stations

I am moving upwards and building a new station. I have been using Meteotemplate since the beginning and wish to expand my gear. Has anyone used this template to present the info for multiple stations? How did you design the site differently and how did you go about it? Are there any technical limita...

Re: Possible database issue: Amount of rain wronged!

Jachym, I have been reading this thread with interest. In the last couple of weeks, I too, had to correct rogue entries for precipitation. The entries seem to be a carryover from the prior day for lets say 3-5 entries and then go to zero (which would be correct). I do use 60 sec intervals to load up...

Re: Offline Notification

I know this thread has been dormant for a few weeks, but I decided to try the notification system again, after it was abandoned. Using one of the recommended sites and I get nowhere. I get the unauthorized access. I try the built in hosting site cron using the suggested wget and get the following: ....

Re: MT Icons not Dispaying right on Firefox

I have uninstalled and reinstalled FF on this machine and same user will not render the MTicons correctly. When bringing up the ..../admin/menu/menuIcons.php page, the MT icons are messed up for 90%. The other font awesome icons below are fine, go figure.

Re: MT Icons not Dispaying right on Firefox

Its interesting, but it renders the same wrong icons, looking up your site. It works well with Chrome under the same user, and it works well using FF with another user. Cache, cookies, history all purged of course. I will call the file containing all the MT icons and see what it renders. No biggy, j...

MT Icons not Dispaying right on Firefox

Hello, I have just noticed this strange behavior on an alternate computer at home when viewing my site. It runs Win 10, and has the same upgrades as my main computer. The MTIcons do not display the correct icons. This is only for certain ones and the trouble icons also do not display on certain menu...

Re: Upcoming

Jachym, Sorry to bring this up again. You released a new version of this block and apparently overlooked the discussed suggestions. A few comments: Today Section: 1) The first section (left) shows "This Year" It would be better to label this "Today". The limitation of this info i...

Re: Upcoming

Jachym,

I think that would be more useful then the extreme max or min. Since we are talking about averages, lets stick with that line. It is in the "Upcoming" block, thus has a forecast tone to it. The block " Station Averages" has the right analysis.

Re: Upcoming

Jachym, You state the the averages should be the averages of the max(highs) and min (lows) of each year's max and min averages. I agree with that concept, however that is NOT what is happening. I checked your demo site and the Averages Max and Min are the extreme year averages, not the averages of t...

Re: Upcoming

Jachym, Thanks for your reply. In the sections labelled AVG, only the avc value is Average, the others (max and min) show the highest or lowest value for any year, not the average max or min for past years. The info is the same as on the plugin Year Comparison (last line). That line only show the hi...

Re: Upcoming

Looking more into this, it seems that this is a labeling perception problem (yearly averages). The upcoming info shows: today avg temp, max temp and min temp (at that time of the day) Last year same day avg, Max and min. (no problem so far) then today's date, last year(s) average average(s) but max ...

Jachym,
The Avg calculation is fixed but in the process the min/max numbers for two and three years are the same for today and tomorrow. www/s-p.me (bottom of homepage)

Re: Upcoming

Under the heading of 13 Sept/AVG (2 years), the Avg value is off for unknown reason. All other values in the Block are aligned with the Plugin values. This was the case yesterday also, so not date specific. The avg cannot be lower than the min..

Upcoming

It seems that the math on the past two years AVG is off. Anybody else having this problem. I have not verified if this is happening multiple instances (different days). Verifying the data using other plugins, the error does not match the plugin results.

Hi from High Prescott, AZ

Fellow Weather Geeks, This has been a great hobby thanks to the unrelenting efforts of Jachym. I started in Wx by starting a vintage barometer/barograph collection which has degenerated into Wx metrology. The technology has changed but the science is still the same. Its still a guessing game... Enjo...

Javier,

Welcome to Meteo Forum. I spent almost all my summer vacations in St Jean de Luz (over 60 years) and made many trips to SS. Beautiful area that Basque Country.
Enjoy.
