I like your new profile photo. The old one made you look very stern, almost angry.

My wife says that you are
a very good looking young man.
Pretty high praise from her.

OMG, I just noticed this new thread :D

I have to say I would not expect this on a forum that is dedicated to a project where male/female ratio is currently 1050/2 :D Lets please discuss something else, how about John's avatar, Martin's avatar etc. :D

think I will change mine, most likely on Apr 1

Whilst I do agree with the praise for your new avatar, Jáchym, I also agree that Johnny's should be scrutinised. Is he in Dr. Who's Tardis? Is that his home computer set up behind him? - or just his home-sweet-home kitchen? Come on, Johnny, we NEED TO KNOW. ;)

I knew those old blue pajamas would come in handy for something - at least they kept the rain out. Thank you Jachym for that delightful picture of my home, so my picture's a fake, Christopher's posting pictures with the UFOs missing, maybe Jachym's avatar is fake too.

To answer your question about my fake picture John B, window to my left, old HiFi kit to my right and the mirror on the chimney breast reflecting a film poster.

Now it's time to throw the spotlight on you John B from down under, I hope that can of beer in your right hand is so cold you can't actually taste it, as for the tuning fork in your left hand - not too sure what that's about - is it to wake old biddies up that have fallen asleep on the park bench. :) Or is it your lightning detector?

Thanks, Jáchym and Johnny. Now I don't know what to believe. :D

As far as my image is concerned, Johnny, it's a fairly accurate depiction: I do have a hat like that (sans corks) the beer would be cold (although I tend to the spiritual side of imbibing) and the article in my left hand is a form of wooden fork. The latter is carried at all times by any sensible resident of this country and is used to pin down the head of a snake before grabbing its tail and then swinging it around to a high radial velocity and then causing it to collide with any solid object close to hand. Yes, I have had the reptilian odd meeting over the years and, although I detest killing living things, have had to dispatch a few of them.

Well John now we know it's not a tuning fork or something to pick up your spare rib of the BBQ - so it really does have a useful purpose. I'd find it a bit difficult going into my shed with the possibility of some unpleasant creature ready to inject me with venom. I suppose you're well used to it, I'm bad enough with wasps let alone snakes and spiders. :)
