Meteobridge as Datalogger

Post by Steve Harpin » Sat Mar 24, 2018 8:29 pm

A straightforward question . I am looking at a cabled version of the Davis Vantage Pro2 as an alternative means of collecting data to the one I have at present, which is Cumulus running on a Fine Offset WH1080. Having recently acquired a Meteobridge I think I understand that this would be a perfectly reasonable data logger to combine with the Davis console. Am I correct in thinking this? Any input from others would be very much appreciated.

All I can say is, for me, the wireless Davis Vantage Pro2 works perfectly with Meteobridge!

I use the meteobridge with the wireless Davis Vantage Pro2. It has been seamless with no issues. I highly recommend.

Yes, the more I look at the comparisons between cabled and wireless the more convinced I myself become. I am pursuing the purchase of a wireless Pro2 at the moment, having(THANKFULLY!)missed out on the cabled one. From your two comments made here it would seem safe to assume that the meteobridge will handle all data from the weather station on its own. Thanks
