GDPR

Post by Mauro » Wed Oct 31, 2018 9:31 pm

Hello to everyone!
I know that the GDPR argument has already been dealt with.
However, I would like to address an aspect that I think is tricky: the use of Google Analytics cookies. If this type of configuration is used, it is legally necessary to give the user the ability to disable tracking through explicit consent or disagreement.
As many know, there are services such as Cookiebot that allow you to create a banner with these features and a dynamic cookie declaration that can be placed on a site, like Wordpress or Joomla.
Is there any possibility of making this type of arrangement to allow Meteo Template site admins to be in line with national and European regulations?
Thank you!

Hello everyone!
For those interested, I confirm that Cookiebot script can be used to manage the dialog banner that allows the user to choose which cookies to accept and which to reject.
This configuration should allow the use of Google Analytics without major problems.
