Signature Blocks?
Newby question...
I see several members here have weather blocks in the their signatures. I looked for "signatures" and "footers" in the blocks and didn't see any. I assume these are Meteotemplate features.
Where do I find them? Can they be used outside of the forums, such as in an email signature?
Are there other blocks that can be used outside of the template? For example, a weather block on the Home Page of a website where the template resides in a folder in the website.
Excited to know (and maybe I should have read in the wiki.).

Ah, very cool! I am able to style them for 100% width as well which is great for responsive layouts.
I like the animated, but will wait until I have some history built up to go there.

Re: Signature Blocks?
OK, my excitement just sank...
Why is my block showing a 32 degree low temperature when the database has nothing less than 69.6?
It also shows a low humidity of 42% which is way off. See screenshot below:

Re: Signature Blocks?
These numbers come from the db, it must come from somewhere, I see you made some modifications too so it is hard to tell where exactly these numbers come from. It should be daily min/max

Re: Signature Blocks?
I see lot of problems on your page:
- you need to generate the menu in the control panel
- missing image in the header (you probably specified "custom" without providing URL for it)
- blocks missing
With regards to humidity for example, look:
https://beachresortcondos.com/weather-s ... /graph.php

Re: Signature Blocks?
I have the "Edit Database" open for today, scrolling down I see just the actual temps every five minutes which were from about 69 to 80 all day.
The only thing I did today that I am uncomfortable with was the Delete All Precipitation. During the station install the station rain cups must have moved a bit as it showed a few records of light rain when it was dry. So I went in to edit those records which appeared to take, but then the same readings would come back. So I did the Delete All Precipitation and it did remove the bad data.
I've been sharing this block with a few people today and hadn't noticed any crazy numbers until I posted the last post. I think it has been OK all day.

Re: Signature Blocks?
There is a spike in your db, however this must be what the template received.
When there is a problem with the script what can happen is that certain value (spike) is for example 0. However, whenever you see a number like this (in this case humidity of 42), that number has to come from "somewhere". The template never generates random numbers. And in case of humidity, there is also never any rounding going on, so your station must have sent this at that one occasion

Re: Signature Blocks?
Yea I haven't really worked on the Home Page yet. But I do see at 16:05 a 32 degree temp and a 42% humidity in the database. Strange. Here is the WeatherLink.com page where the data is pulled from:I see lot of problems on your page:
- you need to generate the menu in the control panel
- missing image in the header (you probably specified "custom" without providing URL for it)

http://www.weatherlink.com/user/clearwa ... &headers=1
Any ideas on why that record got bad data? I was not around my computer at that time, so my own human error wouldn't be a factor. (I don't think...)

Re: Signature Blocks?
I see the issue with your flag image.
In the Main setup it tells you to specify the ISO-2 code, which in case of the U.S. is "us", not "usa" (thats ISO-3)

Re: Signature Blocks?
THe plugin uses data from the WL current XML file, so it must have got it from there, why it was there... no clue

Re: Signature Blocks?
Looking at my WeathetLink software, it didn't get the spike. But I agree, computers don't make up numbers, it came from somewhere. However, whenever you see a number like this (in this case humidity of 42), that number has to come from "somewhere".

Re: Signature Blocks?
The api script takes the number from the WL XML file and checks if it seems realistic. 42 does so it was accepted. I really cant tell why it got there, but it must have been from the XML file, hopefully this will not happen frequently, for now just delete that one invalid row

Re: Signature Blocks?
Yea must have been in the XML. I'm not impressed with the WeatherLink.com XML -- no wind gusts, no UV (and I checked the have UV box when setting the plugin up).
The WeatherLink software downloads the archive packets which have everything, including gusts and UV. Guess I'll spend some more time trying to find out how to get those.
Thanks. BTW, I liked the graph, I need to work with the Home Page...

Re: Signature Blocks?
Wind gust has always been a problem for all WL users because it is not in the XML file.

Re: Signature Blocks?
I had no clue on that. I just changed it to "US" and the flag came up. I thought the broken image was a logo that I haven't set up. I put in USA because one of the weather sites I added the station to over the past few days had USA for United States. So it was fresh in my mind.In the Main setup it tells you to specify the ISO-2 code, which in case of the U.S. is "us", not "usa" (thats ISO-3)
