CPU Usage Question
I have only setup the Meteotemplates website www.boulderweather.org in the last few days. I have two other websites at the same host which use the Saratoga templates and another that uses the weather34.com templates. My CPU usage had been quite low and unremarkable. The CPU usage has now increased to over 20%. The traffic to the MeteoT site is also much larger than the others so maybe that's all it is. Two of the sites, one of which is MeteoT have videos on display, but all processing to assemble these time lapses occurs on my server and is compressed and uploaded. I'm allowed 5% CPU usage and have to pay for anything over that so I'm wondering if the CRON job at 5 minute intervals is part of the problem or are there certain plugins or blocks that are the big CPU "hogs"?

Re: CPU Usage Question
Are we talking about client or server CPU usage?

Re: CPU Usage Question
Server CPU time of my hosting service. I have not paid much attention to this in the past, but noticed in the last week it has shot up. There is a color indicator when you go over your limit and it turned red!

Re: CPU Usage Question
I think this maybe is a non-problem. As I have watched it the CPU Usage % has steadily dropped. Perhaps it was high because I was doing a lot of work on the site.
BTW, I have to congratulate you! The amount of work (and intelligence!) it must have required is extraordinary. You should be truly proud of your accomplishment. I am in awe of what you have done!
