Re: German translation suggestion
Hi,
please use this page, it makes it easier for me when all translations are done via this page
http://www.meteotemplate.com/web/translations/index.php
I am not getting translations via email, blog comments, forum and personal messages on forum and there is a risk I will lose track and forget to add them.

Hi Jachym,
This tool is excellent for new translations!
I would like to have the possibility to go to the list of already translated items and have two extra columns:

- Better translation
- Suggestion (as a help tool for the translator)

Re: German translation suggestion
Even better when we will have an off-line translation tool.
Reasons:
I don't want to loose a half days work because of an unexpected network error.
And I also don't want to send you emails for a few translated items each couple of minutes.

Re: German translation suggestion
Hi Luc,
no I dont want to do this, I thought about it before, but sometimes you can have several correct translations and everyone feels the other one is better and I would keep getting emails like this.
Changes to already existing translations will only be accepted by me from language admins and since you are one, I would take your changes on board, however please go through all of it, make a list in excel/word and then send them to me all at once, it makes it easier for me to add them at once. No need to rush and do it on your pc offline and then send as an attachment in email.

Re: German translation suggestion
Browsers always work online. Offline translation tool means I would have to write a desktop program - no clue how to do that

Is there a way to add new strings to the page you pointed at? I ask this becauseJachym wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2017 11:39 am Hi,

2. in the description above it reads:
or you would like some new strings to be added, email me at jachymcz@gmail.com
Thanks,
Reinhard

Hi Reinhard,
if it is something that would be relevant and suitable I can add it and as it says on that page, you can email it to me. There is no direct way to add strings.

Re: German translation suggestion
Thanks for clarifying things - so when there is something like "measurements" not available in the database I will first email this to you, then you will put the word or phrase into the database, and then somebody can offer a translation on the page you pointed us. Right?

Re: German translation suggestion
correct,
although when you discover some missing one and are emailing it to me, include your translation directly and I would add it directly while adding it to the database as such
