Storm Snow

Post by Johnny » Sun Dec 10, 2017 3:49 pm

Today we had the first significant snowfall across the UK, only 6cm here in Watford, Hertfordshire. It's the first snow to fall on my Bloomsky Storm, maybe with the next version they will have a little built in heater to melt the snow.

Johnny,

I wouldn't hold your breath. Incorporating a heater will take more power. Bigger battery and solar panel.

What I plan on doing is removing the snow from the top as well as the solar panel (On both Storm and Sky)..

Hi Christopher, I'll need to take on the characteristics of Elastigirl in The Incredibles to reach my storm and clear the snow, it's several metres up. It'll just have to melt in it's own time, unfortunately it's likely to show precipitation on the wrong day - but heigh ho.

Ouch.. Mine aren't too high up so I am able to get to them pretty easy.

Yea, you will need to just let nature take its course.
