I've just uploaded to YouTube a very old TV series made by Granada TV UK in association with WNET New York, it's called Savage Skies. It's narrated by Ian Holm (Ash the Android in Alien).
"This series Explores the mysteries of the world's most dramatic weather. The critically acclaimed series combines eye-witness accounts with scientific analysis and incredible footage to form a dramatic and visually stunning story of the remarkable chemistry of the planet's skies."
