I originally started this with a WS2902a many years ago was dependable but not accurate Upgraded that to the WS5000 ,Rain and wind was alway's inaccurate but had a nice console
Ambient Weather had very poor support Out of frustration I went to Ecowitt with the Wittboy 2564 I have only had that about 7 months and Ecowitt support is not any better getting very high wind readings for hours and they are trying to say its debree but I have physicly checked it. my connection with meteotemplate is with the GW2000 AND THE ECOWITT plugin
so this time I am asking before I spend this kind of cash again
Looking at the wireless vantage pro 2 Pricey to start with
What do I have to have to get direct data upload from the Davis to Meteotemplate ?
Or any other reccomenditions I want to stay away from Fine Offset
Frustrated

Re: Frustrated
I've had the Davis Vantage Pro 2 since 2013 and have been very pleased with it. Have upgraded to the latest rain cone, installed the UV and solar energy hardware and upgraded to the daytime fan-aspirated and radiation shields along the way. Pull it down twice a year for a deep clean and has worked like a champ. I have been using Weather Display since 2010 and works well with Meteotemplate PHP code. I agree - it's not cheap but, for the price and accuracy, is the best for your money.

Re: Frustrated
You can also try the davisWlLL plugin I wrote years ago.
Not sure if it is still up to date.
Last version should be the one attached

Re: Frustrated
David nice hering from you again I will look at the plugin
I do have the Davis ISS reporting thru the Meteobridge Pro 2 to Meteotemplate was not a cheap option but works well
I also have the wh57 which i am hoping is going to work have to wait on some lightning to see if it shows up in meteotemplate
I am using meteobridge http rather the using its built in meteotemplate plugin as i get faster updates that way
