Language Admins - suggestion
Hi all,
don't know where to write this suggestion, hopefully I am in the correct place...
In >Quick links >The team there are shown many Language Admins, but is it possible to link the Admin to the corresponding language? So that someone can see if someone has a language related question who is the one to ask for?
Only a suggestion, but maybe a thinkable one?

I Suppose if room allows, you could put 'Language Esp' 'Language Ita' or the other way around 'Esp Language' or 'Ita Language'

Re: Language Admins - suggestion
Hi,
the forum administration allows creating "groups" of users.
I created one for developers and one for language admins. I then assign each user to a particular group where necessary. What you are suggesting would require creating a separate group for every language admin, separate sticker etc. so at this point this probably isnt realistic.
I did change some of the code for this forum, but Im obviously not the author of it, it is the open-source phpBB forum template and as far as I know what you are suggesting cannot be easily achieved.

Re: Language Admins - suggestion
Proposal:
Each language administrator could add a line in his profile's footer like: "language administrator for e.g. German".
This would be visible in this list:
memberlist.php?mode=group&g=10
so everyone can see it,.

Re: Language Admins - suggestion
In the Dutch section of the forum (Nederlands) I introduced myself as the language admin for Nederlands.
May be an idea for the other language admins?

I made those threads sticky, so they will stay always on top in that category
