Yep, found a bug in the leftmenu preparation.
Just to confirm : it crashes when you click on the left menu option "Report a Bug", right ? You never get to see the actual dialog displayed ?
The dialog is displayed but when I want to send it stops I'll try the new app later.
good luck

Ok, thanks for taking the time to test. I'll continue to search the root cause and try to get a fix.

Hello all,

I keep searching for the issue in the bug report.
I would need your help : please download the app through this link , install it, run the app and try to send a bug report (all while connected to internet)
I do expect it to crash but it should also send me the line in the code where the exception ocurred.
Thanks again for your time.

Cheers,

Pol-Brieuc

Thanks to all of you who are testing and help to fix issues.
I published version 0.4.3 that should fix the issue when reporting a bug on some platforms and also display a dialog when internet connection is not available( you can turn on/off the airplane mode on your device to test it).
Next steps, along with bug fixing, will be to work on notifications.

The message about the app being put to sleep mode can be ignored for now. The current release is a debug release with lot of additional tasks/resources that won't be needed in a stable release. And in the end, the app does not consume that much power, it is just android thinking it does.
And regarding your bug report about the Dutch language, you were right, the "fl" code was applied instead of the "nl" code. (fl being probably West Frisian). It will be corrected in the next release.

No, it is not cancelled at all.
It just happens that I have been busy and did not progress much in the last weeks.
Next update will include alerts (notifications) and the possibility to add as many blocks as you want in the left menu. And bug fixes, obviously.
Stay tuned...

Saludos ;)

Hi Alejandro,

Switching back to English so other members can participate to the conversation.
Your proposal of having a widget with the current data is great and I will definitely add it to the roadmap (most probaly using the current condition available in the left menu as a starting base).
This will come after notifications are implemented.
As I am pretty busy at my work (and want to save time for my family as well), development on the app is not as active as I wished it would but I will continue to make some time to progress.
In the meanwhile, please do continue to test the current functionnalities and report any issue you may face.

Cheers,

Pol-Brieuc

I will speak English in future posts ;)

I also have no time in last weeks so I didn´t test the app yet. I will install again in my new phone and start testing. Don´t worry about the app progress, it´s a voluntary work so we can´t demand you anything.

I don´t know if you knows the meteoclimatic widget. It´s no longer available in the store, but I imagine (I don´t Know you) something similar (o perhaps better) and I am sure a lot of meteoclimatic users that also uses meteotemplate and miss old meteoclimatic app would download your app.

Thanks for your job

;)

Hi Phil,

Your site has been added to the app but the mobile version (which is displayed in the app) is currently returning an error.

Hello,

I just published version 0.5 of the App with notifications included.
You can find it my dev page
Remember to also download the plugin if your site is part of the beta testers.
I'll put more details in a future post (I have to build some documentation around the App and the Plugin) but the new feature is Notifications, allowing to send notifications triggerred by events on your station (or on your site in general).

[Edit] For notifications to work, you will need to install the additional plugin Triggers (download it here, see instructions here)
Have fun testing and finding bugs and do not forget to report any issue.
Cheers,

Pol-Brieuc

PS : For those who have their site available in the App, when you modify something in the App Plugin, do not forget to clean the cache in the App (Settings/Data&Sync) to see your modifications in the app. If you are adding Notifications, also go to Settings/Notifications to check the notifications manually.
