It looks like the Wunderground Free API is going away - even for those of us who GIVE them data (PWS owners)

May just write something to pull my data directly from the Meteo or WeeWx databases then and turn off sending anything to Blunderground

Indeed, seems they now changed it. They are still happy to get our data but we are not able to retrieve it anymore ...
closed my account. If the 'open source' idea is lost, they lost me too

Re: Wunderground API Changes?
I've stopped providing my data to Wunderground a while ago. They don't deserve MY data anymore. They need to remember WHO helps them pay their bills.
"WE" the PWS owners upfront the costs of the devices, internet connection, and share our data with WU. I guess since they are part of IBM (The Weather Company) that we are not needed anymore. That's fine with me. My data stays in my database (..and Bloomsky's. Grumble..)

Re: Wunderground API Changes?
Yes I been working on the weewx thing for a month now but since I have an ambient-2902 it is not easy setting up a sniffer as required get my data to a local data base saved on the Raspberry pi and a back up since WU is constantly down anyway.JHoke wrote: ↑Fri May 18, 2018 9:06 am It looks like the Wunderground Free API is going away - even for those of us who GIVE them data (PWS owners)
