a block or plugin that displays the radioactive radiation would be nice.

That is also a good idea. I have thought about that for a long time and trying in my head to figure out how to get that data into a block myself.

I think it might work like the block "warnings". The German service "ODL" offers a data interface. There are the formats * .json and * .dat. Maybe I'll try it ....
