Help with Cumulus data import.

Post by Charl » Thu Jul 04, 2019 3:19 pm

Hi Guys,

I'm not able to import my Cumulus data .txt files. Included my current settings.

The error I get is:

There seems to be a problem with the date and time. Either it has not been parsed correctly or it is a date/time in the future! Check the format you specified and also the actual values.

Charl.

Did you get this sorted out? I was able to import the http://dullstroomweather.co.za/template ... estlog.txt file without issue on the test import page. There was an issue with the pressure but that was because of units. Th date worked fine.

Finally came right, stupid me did not realize that one has to import each .txt file separately, thought you just had to point to the directory.

Thanks Jay and other posts, all :D now.

Jay,

Glad you got your Cumulus import working. So far I haven't been able to do so. Could you please elaborate on how you did it? :?

Tom,
I never really had to do this. I was helping Charl with his. I think that Cumulus creates the files and you use the import feature in Meteotemplate. As I recall each month needs to imported seperatly.

Hope this helps.

Jay
