How to show Bloomsky data from weather station?
Hello. I'm trying to show the data from my Bloomsky. From the main setup page, I don't see Bloomsky as an available option. The data is being stored in the database.
On the home page, I click on Weather Station and Current Data and it doesn't pull up any data.
Here is a picture showing my data:

Hi Fraggboy,
Jachym has been testing a Bloomsky script to allow you to import data into Meteotemplate. But initially we had teething problems with it, the script itself was not the problem - it was the data from Bloomsky. We think that most of the bugs have now been ironed out, but I'm not sure if he's happy to release it yet. If he reads this he may put an answer below as to whether he thinks it's fit for release.

Re: How to show Bloomsky data from weather station?
John,
Thank you. I set up a Bloomsky link on the menu. It pulls up the saved picture and data, but I noticed that throughout the website, there are missing icons. If you click on a date and scroll down, you can see the missing icons.
Jachym,
I know you said you don't have a Bloomsky to test with, would you like my API key so you can retrieve the data and work with a fix? I'm OK with providing you my key via PM (If you would like).
I really like your template, but since I only have a Bloomsky it's not beneficial for myself.

There is a link to my Bloomsky page below, let me know how it compares with yours, bare in mind if you have only just hooked it up it will only start showing images from this day forward. Can you include a link to your site.

Hi Fraggboy, yeah that link is not working, send a link when you've managed to get it up and running.Fraggboy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2017 8:12 pm John,

Sadly the link is still dead, from the look of the URL are you using a Synology to host your web site?

Re: How to show Bloomsky data from weather station?
I am in the process of securing a static IP address so I can use my own domain. Synology DDNS service was impacted a while ago. It has recovered.
Keep trying. I'm sure it's taking a bit to propagate throughout the interwebs.

The icons below your large static image and the calendar should be filling with a square still frame (thumbnail), the size of which you choose when setting up the plugin, I have my thumbnail setting on 100px and the image update interval on 300s (as the image is updated every five minutes).

Thank you. Version is correct. I modified the update time to 300 seconds and reduced the size to 100. The picture looks better.
How can I show the data from my Blomsky like yours? Do I need to wait? I am willing to beta test.
As it is right now, it’s useless since the main page doesn’t show any data from my pws.
Also, when I run the template test, everything is green except for the API file. I don’t know how to fix that.
Plus, some of the control panel icons are not showing up (I can share later on)..

Hi Fraggboy,
I have some good news, Jachym is going to release the script tomorrow, this will allow you to receive data from your Bloomsky. Keep an eye on Jachym's blog as he will announce it there http://meteotemplate.com/blog/

YAY!!
I can't wait. I will be keeping an eye out for sure.
I have updated my SSL cert.
You can view my webpage at https://www.fraggboy.com now. I will wait and then go from there (There are a few missing items).
EDIT: I am starting to see data on my Bloomsky page, but I am missing icons and such. Also, It's showing the other PWS that I setup in the main file in which I don't have. Is there a way that I can only use my Bloomsky PWS as the default?

Re: How to show Bloomsky data from weather station?
Jachym will correct me if I'm wrong here, but that data you're seeing on your Bloomsky page is from your Bloomsky, but it's not the source that will feed data to the rest of Meteotemplate. That one will hopefully come later today when Jachym releases it.
The other good news is that your thumbnail pictures are now starting to show up:

Jachym,
Thank you. I have updated the bloomsky plugin folder and time will tell..
EDIT: It's still showing offline on my main page. On my Bloomsky page, it's receiving data. Is there something that I need to perform?
Was the update supposed to utilize the BloomSky database? The alldata database is still empty.

Re: How to show Bloomsky data from weather station?
Hi Fraggboy, just a little confused between this thread and the other you have called 'API File not found..' The other thread sounds like you want Weather Underground as a source and this one you want your Bloomsky - is that correct? Assuming this to be correct you have two sites?
Coming back to this thread now, have you set up a CRON job separate to the one for downloading images and video clips? You need to do this in order to receive the data from your Bloomsky station to feed Meteotemplate.
If you're not sure about setting this up let us know.

Re: How to show Bloomsky data from weather station?
My apologies for not fully understanding. I *do* want view all data from my BS only (Only have 1 site). I don't know which blocks are "BloomSky" compatible.
I do have one CRON job setup to download the videos/images/data from my BS. Did I forget to add a second one?

Re: How to show Bloomsky data from weather station?
Yes you need to setup a separate CRON job.
1. I'm going to assume you have the bsUpdate.php file in your www.yourwebsite.com/plugins/bloomSky folder. Jachym released this earlier today should you need to update it.
2. Now setup a new CRON job, look at the image below and use it as a guide (needless to say replacing my details with yours) See how you get on and let us know.

Re: How to show Bloomsky data from weather station?
That's what I was missing! You guys are awesome! Seriously.
So, I need to dig a bit deeper into the code.. When you click the more on the current condition block, the text is pretty big. I guess that block is designed with more landscape in mind..
I am seeing that the UV is off. Maybe it needs more data so I will let it run for a bit.
