Windchill

Post by Zedekia » Fri Sep 29, 2017 2:28 pm

Hello Jachym,

the meteobridge supplies windchill data. I assume that the information is present in the api file.

But the Block "Station Data" does not show this information. Why?

Screenshots are attached.

Hi Zedekia

I think heat index and wind chill are calculated by MT.
If you want to see the content of the api file, install apiViewer Block!

Greetings

Hi,
correct, API only receives temperature. WCh is calculated using wind speed and temperature and wind chill as such is only defined at certain wind speeds and temperatures, which is why you see "--", because for the current combination it is not defined. If I remember correctly it is T<10°C and wind >5km/h, but Im not 100% sure
