Some blocks spinning when using https

I have two installations for testing, one http and one https (Each site is configured properly for either http or https)

My https site shows as a secure connection in the URL bar in both Chrome and Firefox, with no errors.

I was previously running my site on https (everything worked fine) and changed hosts over the weekend.


If I load my new http site everything works fine.
If I load my new https site, some blocks appear, most just spin, BUT - If I click on ANY block and choose fullscreen, it displays just fine in fullscreen mode. After leaving fullscreen, the block continues to spin.

In further testing I have now determined that which blocks display and which don't after refreshing the page, is entirely random.

Any ideas?
