Just saying hi to every one and introducing myself.

I'm Vince and along with my partner we run EveshamWeather.co.uk using our Oregon Scientific WMR88 weather station and a recently added Meteobridge for uploading (replacing our old Cumulus system). This is a bit of an upgrade from our first weather station (a Maplin special based on a Fine Offset unit) but ultimately I suspect we will end up with a Davis unit. We also have a Netatmo with a rain sensor which is a nice modern designed station but still need to get the wind gauge for this.
On the website we have a webcam which uses a Foscam C1 security camera and some custom scripts running on one of my linux machines to create the overlays and upload the image once every 15 minutes.

We have moved our site to Meteotemplate this year after many years using a custom Cumulus based template. Overall Meteotemplate is much more modern and considerably easier to use, modify and maintain. Our thanks go to Jachym for his incredible work on this.

Vince

Welcome to forum Vince. I have been using Meteotemplate almost since Jachym started it and exclusively since this past February when I changed location.

Hi Vince, another welcome to the forum. I still use Cumulus to feed MT and I suppose all of us at some point would like to graduate to a Davis setup - but it's an expensive bit of kit. Maybe one day.

Hi Vince:

Welcome to the forum. I just joined in too a few days back. I also upgraded to Meteobridge, Meteotemplate, and a new Davis station, all this year. I am quite happy with Meteotemplate as well.
