Install Issue

In the process of reinstalling my templates (for 2 weather stations mine and my dad's). My database got corrupted, and both sites were very slow to load (turns out that that was a chrome cache problem). In retrospect I probably didn't need to reinstall fresh :-(.

Anyway couple of issues
1. I'm getting little boxes where the icons for setting, admin lock etc used to be. This is in firefox and chrome. http://www.dtwrlewis.com/Radlett/indexDesktop.php These icons all seem to display fine as soon as I log in to admin. But continue to appear as boxes on the homepage. Any ideas?

2. Prior to the reinstall (and another reason why I did it), I was unable to update via the weatherlnk api. Any tips for getting this working? Any likely issues that I may have not addressed?

Thanks

David

Using Chrome

I can't see anything you describe here:

But everything seems to be in order here: (No www)

Your site is 404 at the moment.
LOBWX described it working without www so check Main Setup and insure paths i.e.

Thanks both.

reinstalled again with smallcase, just in case that was the problem (which it wasnt - see below).

Anyway turns out my problem was due to "update checking in the Main setup". Turned this off and now my homepage loads quickly.

I haven't re installed the blocks yet, as I have to re upload the old data first.

I am now updating data via WU. However there is a new problem, my dad's WU page has data in 15 min intervals. I think is due to his weatherlink upload settings. https://www.wunderground.com/personal-w ... ENGLAND417.

This is resulting in meteotemplate being intermittently offline.

Your station is still reporting off line.

Tell your dad to set in "current block" the 11th down
Specify the maximum online interval. If the last update is older than this, the block will show just offline. The number should be in minutes. I recommend using slightly more than double the interval at which the source data is updated (to tolerate one missing interval and give some space for delay in transfer). For example, if you are using the database, the update interval is 5 minutes, so I would recommend using 11 minutes.
to 20 min or more to stop the offline notice. It is in fact updating on WU at 15 min intervals. There must be a setting in weatherlink which I am not so familiar with.
