while i wait for my tplink to be delivered my thoughts have moved onto the next stage which is what web host should i be using and was wondering what other people are using and what i need to be aware of when choosing a host

I personally like 1and1 / Ionos.

I recently tried a couple of others (Hostwinds primarily) without good success.

As a nice benefit, you can get the hosting and the domain name for $12 for the first year. $12 TOTAL for the first year.
