Meteotemplate Forum

Hi all!
Hope somebody can point me in the right direction. I have read some topics here about updating the database from WU, but I'm a little bit lost. I have bought an Ecowitt weather station that is sending the data to WU, but I want also to send the data to my database so I can use them in Meteotemplate. (I have already another station sending to meteotemplate via Weather Display, so I'm familiar with Meteotemplate, but not with updating Meteotemplate from WU).

Here is what I have done so far:
1. In the Database Update Setup I have choosen Weather Underground and written my WU station ID.
2. When i press the Test WU button I got the following message in my web browser:

"Update Test
Update type tested: Weather Underground

Loading data from weatherunderground.com for station: ILESJA7..."


3. Then I run "https://www.lesjaskogsveret.no/template ... rd=xxxxxxx" and I get "Success" in my webbrowser, but there is no data uploaded to the database.

So this is where I'm right now, so I would be very grateful if someone could tell me what to do now, so that the data from WU could come into my Meteotemplate database.

Yes thanks, but Data Import is only about historical data. I wonder about how to get "live-data" downloaded from WU, e.g. every five minutes.

Did you setup a cron job?

I finally managed to fix the problem, in a complete other way around. I found out that the WeatherDisplay software is able to download data from WU, and then it is easy to set up WD to push the data further to the Meteotemplate database.
