Hi all;
New to the template but not new to having the weather station and website on the Internet. I started in 2007 and back then was running weather display and the HTML Carterlake templates and from there upgraded to the Saratoga PhP template. When I got my Davis equipment and wanting to try something different without having to have a PC on to upload the weather tags I went to having the Davis Weatherlink-IP device and switched to the Leuven Template and I'm sure many of us are familiar with or have used some of these in the past.
Wim from Leuven was a great help and I really liked his template but he was getting bogged down and had to slow down development and when scripts and other issues came up he wasn't able to address them and he quit issuing the template to new users suggested people try a different template. Since I liked the Leuven template I kept using it but last month when the Weather Underground radar quit updating I knew it was time to try something new.
So here I am.
As I have been getting into the setup and everything [now running live] I am growing to really like this template especially now that I am getting the hang of how to configure everything. Still a few bugs with the Davis api and the boss is working on that as I'm currently having to use my iMac to upload thru the weatherlink IP device instead of going direct but overall I'm really liking it and look forward to continuing to tweak as time goes on.
