RadarUS Block not compatible with National Weather Service Radar Updates

UPDATE: NWS has started again updating the links this fix references.
Hi All,
So the National Weather Service went live this evening with their new radar format (
https://radar.weather.gov) and the format is incompatible with the way this block was originally written. I quickly played around and made this update to at least get the block somewhat working.
Do a search for this string in your code:
+radarType+"/"+
and do a find/replace with this:
+"/K"+
There should be three instances that get replaced. This will at least get it working. Not perfect but enough to limp by. Maybe someone smarter than I can figure out a better solution.

Is this in the settings or actual block.php file?
BTW Thanks!

OK, figured it out. That does get it to at least load. Thanks again.

It’s the actual block code. Sorry for not being more clear.

UPDATE: Looks like the NWS has stopped updating the link used by the work-around. Not sure at the moment what the next step to make this work will be.

Hopefully it can get figured out as it's a major impediment.

Had a look at it today.
Best option I have found so far is to put it into a IFRAME.
I hate Iframes, but it will work for now.
Shame on the NWS fro not considering how many people were linked into their service.

Yeah, this is a mess for everyone. I have been watching the wxforum.net boards to see if they can figure this out as they tend to have a much bigger following and they are just as much at a loss as us here on MT. Did see a post the linked to these two articles that pretty much show what a mess this whole change is. The worst thing is NWS cannot revert back to the old sites as they relied on Adobe Flash which was officially depreciated Dec-31-2020.

As suggested in the first post the only radar loop images ( still available and updated ) seems to be the
"
http://radar.weather.gov/ridge/lite/K"+ ... "_loop.gif"
- disabled last dropdown box
- doppler, ozone concentration and min/max temperature radar 'out of order'
