You can add more information about yourself in your profile, go to your nick name top right, select 'Profile' from the drop down, then in the middle of that page you should see your nickname with 'Edit Profile' to the right - click on this to add more information about yourself. Options like birthday, location, website and social media are here, along with a signature for your posts, your avatar and many other settings.

I tried this, but there is no "edit profile-button" next to my nickname - and no possibility to add more information!
I already asked Jachym, but he could not help me.

No problem, it should now be fixed for all, I made some global changes.

I tried to add Twitter and Facebook details but it would not accept the urls I was entering. I presume we are supposed to add urls here?

Just use your nick, because the first part of the URL is same for all and this is to save space in the db

For example, my FB and twitter are:
https://www.facebook.com/jachym
https://www.twitter.com/jachym

In both cases I simply put "jachym"
