CurrentConditions Block (v24.1) - Activating Dual Units

After some time, I am finally taking some time to do much needed updates to my site. One of the updates was to the CurrentConditions block to v24.1 (one of the 'unofficial' versions). Immediately I found that on my site no conditions were loading in the updated block. I spend some time going through the settings and if I disable the option for 'Dual Units' then the block loads.
Has anyone seen this before as I hate to reinvent the wheel trying to fix this but doing a quick search of the forums did not reveal anything similar. I will also point out that my default units are Imperial and the dual units would be metric so I suspect that is a factor.
If anyone has experience and/or resolved this please pass on your suggestions. Otherwise I'll be going into debug mode and eventually track this issue down when time allows.
