My WIsh. . .

Oh, how I would love to be able to directly retrieve data from my BS. I would love to incorporate a Meteobridge on my network communicating to my BS (Sky + storm) and then to the template..

. . . I know. It will never happen, but that would complete it for me. Bypass BS server interruptions. Heck, I'm going to create a post on BS support now asking about that. I know someone already posted, but no reply..

EDIT:
So, this is what I posted on their website..

"Hello guys. I know this has been brought up a while ago, which was forwarded to the engineers.

Will there be a time that we can access the API data directly from the Sky + Storm ourselves? The driving factor is that. . . your servers haven't been reliable at times. If I'm in control of that interface, I can create a watchdog and have it automatically restart if the communication is broken.

I know I can retrieve the API data from your servers. I'm (And others) are wanting a direct interface."

Hello Christopher,

Thanks so much for the post. You know, I have not heard about this for quite some time, and it is great that you bring it up. I will bring this up once ore with the engineers to see if this is viable.

Thanks again,
Nick
I hope this turns into a reality..(Keeps fingers crossed)

Hi Fraggboy, I'm guessing your name is Christopher, the reply you received from Bloomsky is so typical of their answers they give to questions. To give you an example have a look at the questions that Jachym and I put to them back in April and May 2017:

21st April 2017: https://bloomsky.desk.com/customer/en/p ... w=17020569

29th April 2017: https://bloomsky.desk.com/customer/en/p ... w=17025685

20th May 2017: https://bloomsky.desk.com/customer/port ... ect-values

Bottom line, don't hold your breath as it's going to take a long time, a real long time :)

Johnny,

Yes, I am Christopher. :( I know it's a canned response. I'm trying to stay positive. ;)

Given them some credit, their engineers has fixed a few things you have brought up to them..
