Afternoon all,

By way of intro - i have been running a weather station at University College London for a number of years - at the moment we have a page at:

http://weather.casa.ucl.ac.uk/
- the page background colour changes every 5 degrees centigrade.

As such i was wondering if a similar option is possible on Meteotemplates, it would be esp useful on the Data Display type plugins.

Our (currently in a bit of a mess but working in terms of data) test metotemplate page is at

http://www.digitalurban.org/meteo/pages ... veData.php at the moment it will be adapted during the next few weeks.

Hi Andy,

currently this feature is not available - simply because no-one else ever suggested it, there is the interactive header which changes based on conditions. What you are suggesting is technically not a problem so I can put it on my to-do list, however this means it will not be available earlier than v17. This will require some more extensive modifications to some of the core files of the template so it cannot be included in some plugin or a block.

P.S. Regards to UCL, the Uni I originally wanted to go to and only opted for Edinburgh instead because of the costs of living in London :)

Is it possible to expand the conditions in the interactive banner. For example, A rainy day is displayed as a thunder storm.

Not sure what you mean, when it is raining it should show it. It shows current conditions.

maybe it is showing wrong image for rainy day. I have never seen a rain type image displayed. It always displays as lighning when it rains.

It depends on the METAR, but I know for sure that at least on my page it sometimes shows just rain
