Errors with API for Weather Display
Posted: Sun May 11, 2025 2:35 pm
Looking for some suggestions for troubleshooting an API error that just started happening within the past 24 hours. Up to this point, everything has been working flawlessly. Below is a quick summary of the problem:
1. I have attached a snipit of the Weather Display MeteoTemplate configuration. How it is/was set up while it still worked. 2. I am hosting my own website via Synology NAS. Has been working like a champ for the past 2 years.
3. I have downloaded and installed the latest version of Weather Display. Brian from the UK has also weighed in and, up to this point, is still scratching his head.
4. I have flushed the DNS on both computers -on the Weather Display side as well as the NAS side.
5. I have removed the contents of the /template/cache folders. The only files that ever populate are "latest_version_20250511" and a version "file".
6. I have several Cron jobs that execute every 5 minutes via "cron-jobs.org" without any errors.
7. When I click on the "API Viewer" link from the "Tools" menu, the Date Time Group continues to update as if the API is getting called from Weather Display but nothing is added to the Cache folder or into the SQL DB (see attached snipit 8. When I attempt to manually call the API via the web browser, I receive "No password provided".
Thanks in advance and thanks in advance for your Subject Matter expertise.
