Hello,

I have some friends who have horses and they were asking me if there is a formula to calculate the ideal time for harvesting hay, this means, is it gonna stay dry and warm enough to harvest the hay dry so it does'nt rot.

I was asking myself if there was a possibility to make a little block or plugin of this.?

Greetings from Marc, Antwerp

Hi,
yes it would, but you need to provide some forumla to use. I can do the programming, but I dont know about any formulas to calculate this.

Hi, Jachym

I have done a short search and it has much to do with dry and warm temperatures and no or litlle rain forecasted.

i am searching for a formula, though! I let you know if i find a scientifically right formula...And i think i've found a good base to start:

extended dry periods with ample sunshine, light winds and low humidity. This is the ideal opportunity to cut hay.

Yes, let me know if you find anything where all parameters necessary can be calculated from the data we have available in the database
