We just got our first snow in Divide, Colorado, USA. These young spike bucks with snow on their backs stopped by the house to visit. The aspen trees still have their fall, yellow colors. We ended up with about 3 or 4 inches of wet snow to start off our snow this season here at just over 9000 feet.

Great pic ! Here it is still early for the first snow, and in particular these days that are too hot and too dry.
I had a look at your photos album, very nice. A lot of wildlife around your place. Lucky you!

Nice photo!

Meanwhile, it is hot and humid on the east coast and in the south, cold and wet in the Pacific Northwest, and wildfires in California. What a month!

I like to hide up high on my mountain to get away from all the turmoil around us. But, wildfires are also a problem here. In fact, I have been mowing down the tall grasses out about 100 feet from my house this week. It might help keep a ground wildfire from getting to me, plus the insurance company requires it now.
