Jachym,

When you are editing the block called "text", could you enlarge the text box for entering new text? If I'm entering a large amount of text, I can see very little of it. When I return back to edit, The large amount of entered text is displayed but continues off the screen. Thank you.

Hi,
I see what you mean, unfortunately it is not possible because the block setup page is only one page. It is used for all the blocks. Each block contains information about which parameters should be specified, but the block setup page is only one and this page loads these small text files with the parameters. So this means I would have to enlarge this box for all blocks and in some cases this would create opposite problem.

Curtis,

I use a text editor (Notepad++) to create and format the text - using HTML tags - then simply cut and paste. It's a lot easier than doing it straight into the set-up screen.

John,
Great tip. Thanks.

After what Jachym has already explained about the textBlock, this may be a very silly question :-), but wouldn't it be possible to create a textBlock, using the same structure that is used by the dynamicText block setup?
In the dynamicText block we can use a title (with Yes/No option), an enable/disable option and a single box where we can introduce the desired text, and it is so easy to use!
I would love to have a textBlock using this very convenient structure, instead of that endless line that becomes so hard to read for long text :-)
Because of that, I am not of using the textBlock. As an alternative, I am using one of the options in dynamicText Block to create a quick forecast text in my site (Info Meteocaldas at the middle top). It is much easier for me to work with it, instead of working with the Text Block, or even to work with notepad++, due to the fact that I need to change the info text very often and sometimes it can be an extremely long text.

I can only hope that Jachym will forgive me for my misuse of his fantastic dynamicText block! :-)
... but a simple textBlock using this struture would be very welcomed!
