Hello and Moin from Northern Germany!

My name is Georg and i'm 37 years old. My interest in weather started already in the early 90s- the trigger was an unusual strong night time thunderstorm, which kept me awake all night. The aftermath of that storm was that started borrowing all kinds of books related to weather and meteorology. In 2006 i seriously began collecting data with a simple temperature and humidity logger and a pluviometer, after another four years i finally got my first own station a WS2300. In 2012 i switched to my current station the WH1080.
Apart from weather i am also interested in photography (especially landscapes and architecture) , astronomy and cycling.
I live in the city of Bremerhaven in Northwest Germany, which is only a short distance from the North Sea and only about 50 miles west of Hamburg. The district i live in is named "Twischkamp" hence my nickname.
