Import 2 1/2 Years of Weather Underground Data?

I have been pleased using this template with a brand new weather station, even with limited data availability via WeatherLink.com.

This project is for a client and it's working out.

But now I am wanting to build a site from this template for my own weather station that has been up since May of 2015. It is using Meteobridge so has updates every few seconds. What I wonder about is bringing in my data from the past couple years and some.

I have doubts I can import it all from WU as the server will time out I assume. I have my WeatherLink software data for at least a year or so, but not sure how it is saved. Plus I have some kind of data on the Meteobridge server.

Has this been tackled before?

Use the Data import function and select WU, it will be the easiest. You can specify the date range to import, if it times out you will simply run it again from whenever it timed out, it is imported one by one, so if it times out in the middle, half is imported fine and you can then set to import just the other half. From my experience you should be fine importing up to a yr at once.

Should I request a new download key or just use the download I have?

Have you considered charging for a "White Label" license? (I like to keep a good professional discovery secret, but want you to benefit as well!) ;)

The data import function has been part of the default template since version 1 :)
