Hi All,

I'm a 61 year old, married w/3 grown children (daughter, son, daughter) and 3 grand kids (grandson, grandson and grandaughter).

I live in Surprise, AZ which is a northwestern valley suburb in the Phoenix area. I have 4 dogs and 3 cats as well as I am a total softy for animals which will become more apparent when I say 3 of the 4 dogs living with me are really my two daughters dogs come home to roost due to careers and babies.

I currently have 3 weather stations; an Acurite 5-in-1 w/Smarthub my first station- KAZSURPR41, which I followed shortly with a Davis Vantage Vue (KAZSURPR57)and a Davis Pro 2 w/24 fan aspiration (KAZSURPR54 - this is the weather site station).

I just recently bought my son and grandson an Acurite 5-n-1 w/Smarthub so I am passing on my weather addiction.... :). Those just arrived this week so not up yet but soon I will have a small Acurite farm to look at :).

My site is www.surpriseazweather.com which is currently not display my cam2 which is really annoying me. It's been happening a lot lately to only this one camera , ggrrrrrrr...

Cheers to all.....

Hi,

welcome to the forum.

At times I feel really sorry for you living in Arizona, mostly because I myself hate when it is too hot and I just checked your station and when I saw the temperature being a two digit number, starting with a 4 (in Celsius) I think I would not survive a day where you live :D

:D Yes, not many people have it here.

On one hand I hate when it gets above 25, but the truth is that A/C is also not great. Not once I had cold just because I was sitting somewhere where they had A/C and then went outside where it was 10-15 degrees warmer.

But I guess it is a matter of getting used to it and also to a large extent the values of the other parameters, most importantly humidity.
