Hello from Guernsey

Hi All,
My name is Steve and I live on the island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands. I work for a boatyard located in the north of the island, and I have installed my own personal weather station at this site so that I may share weather information for anyone interested in this area.
I enjoy both drone flying and aerial photography so I thought it would be useful for me to have a station monitoring the conditions at this end of the island, away from the southern end of the island and airport where the island's meteorological station is, and where of course I am not allowed to fly my drone.
It took me a lot longer than anticipated to get my station up and running because I was waiting on some modifications to the building where the station is now installed, and hopefully soon I will have a weather camera feed live from this site, feeding images looking out of the marina area towards the east, and the neighbouring islands of Herm and Jethou.
I found Jachym's template basically by pure luck when searching for website designs, and Meteotemplate has allowed me to get a site up and running so easily - thank you so much to Jachym for all of his hard work.
St Sampson's Marina is a physical location, not a business, the marina itself is owned and operated by the government of the island through their own Guernsey Harbours operation. Naming it after the physical location was just a method for locals and visitors to be able to easily identify where the station was based, and fortunately the domain name was still available.
I hope to add some weather related photos as we start to settle into this new year.
Kind regards,
Steve
