I want to thank Jachym for his amazing Meteotemplate software! And I will continue to support your work even if you want or not! :)

I live in Umeå, northern Sweden.
It may seem strange but I'm not really interested in weather, but I like technology.

It started with I want to learn how to make a website. I wanted to make a website about where my father was born and raised as a child. He was born in Borgafjäll, Lapland. It is in the mountains of northern Sweden where our Sami and reindeer are. I have been there myself since I was a child with my grandmother and grandfather. I have built a vacation home where I and my family go to. I'm not Sami myself but my relatives have been.

So I started from scratch without knowing how to do. I experimented and tested how and technically add different features. Suddenly I had my first website.

After a few years, there are about 30,000 visitors on my website. So I felt a little pressure that I would probably try to make it serious. What to do? I thought people wanted to know the weather.

But how do I do a weather page and what equipment does it require? I bought an Irox Pro without understanding how a weather station works. Searched and discovered the Weather Display software. Many hours, days, weeks and months of work passed and suddenly it happened! I was very surprised when it finally worked.

After almost 44,000 visitors to my website, the local newspaper wants to write an article. During the interview, the reporter asked if I planned to further develop the weather station. Without thinking, I said yes.
Okidoki, how do I do now? I'm a man who (almost) always does what I say.

1 year later I purchase Wireless Vantage Pro2 ™ Plus with 24-Hr Fan Aspirated Radiation Shield, I calling the local newspaper and they write another article about it.

And now there are more than 60,000 visitors.
So now I'm sitting here wondering how it could be like this, I just wanted to learn how to make a website!

Finally, music and hi-fi sound is my interest. And Pink Floyd is number 3 in my life! After my children and my wife.

Hi Elbogen, interesting story and a serious number of visitors to your site - great achievement. Besides the technical stuff I'm guessing now that you do have an interest in the weather. By the way I've listened to Dark Side Of The Moon many, many times and last night listened to Part One of Shine On You Crazy Diamond - eerie track that would suit some slow motion footage.

I don't think I could ever get tired of "Dark Side of the Moon"
it's way more than a classic, it's an experience!

The Great Gig In The Sky is my absolute favorite. Sometimes I play this song ten times after each other!
