Actualización Plantilla de V15 a V16

Post by Juan Maria Vilaró » Mon Sep 25, 2017 6:23 am

Good day to all, I have transferred the folder update_16 to the update folder, but I need help in steps 4 and 5 of the update, maybe because of the translation I do not understand how to perform the update.
regards

Hi Juan,

In steps 4 and 5, you need to go to your Meteotemplate home page and in the bottom right hand corner sign in to your site. Once there you now need to alter the website address, keeping the first part (example below if it were my site) and adding update_16/updateTemplate.php

www.watfordweather.co.uk/update_16/updateTemplate.php

In other words removing admin/index.php and replacing with update_16/updateTemplate.php

Once you've done that click return or enter on your keyboard and the update should be performed in seconds. If it doesn't then you may have the web address wrong - double check it for errors.

You will know if it's working as you will be presented with a new page hopefully showing a long list of green ticks.

Finally back in your control panel under 'Administration' go to 'Main Setup' and scroll right to the bottom and click 'Save'

I think I've got that right, if I've made an error here please correct me anyone.

Thank you very much, I have updated correctly and it is really simple, congratulations to all staff and to Jachym for simplifying the maintenance of Meteotemplate.

Congratulations
