V16 - clarification

Hi guys,

just to prevent any misunderstandings.

Version 16 update will in no way give more control to me over your websites. It is however a very complicated update (for me) and Im not yet sure if I will actually include some of the features. They work, but as I mentioned they would require some changes on my site, which I have to consider if I can afford them and I need to make 100% sure they will not lead to a total disaster (for my site, not yours).

What you need to realize is that your sites to a certain extent already depend on my page:
- latest version check
- menu update
- users file update
etc.

These things require communication with my server and these are the things which if I make that change and if you do not update, will stop working.

A regular user will not see any issues (unless you are using some blocks like the Meteotemplate Blog block), however you as admin will see errors regarding latest version checks, menu update will not work etc.

As I said, it is not certain yet when and if, and even if, it will not mean your page will in any way become less "yours".

Hi, All!

Version 16.0 already, i was with Jachym from the beginning of his gigantic work. When i asked him to help me with an interactive banner for my saratoga template i did not know that this was going to be the outcome. What an epic journey!

Begun with a brainstorm of how it should work until the first beta a few weeks later wich was already a great improvement. Some difficulties with importing data was overcome and then it was on the fast track! Keep up the good work, Jachym!
