Hompage Layout changed during update

Post by twills » Thu Jun 04, 2020 4:56 pm

I just went through updating from version 17.0 to 17.1 to 17.2 and finally to 18.0. Now my Homepage Layout has gone from a 30%/70% layout to a 100% layout. I see nothing in the Main Setup page that indicates an change. When looking at the Homepage Layout, it still shows the 30%/70% setup even though it is displaying every block as 100%. Any ideas on how to correct this problem?

I have it showing up okay now, but it was weird what I needed to do to get this corrected. In stead of 30,70, I changed it to 30,65,5. Now I have 2 columns of apparently 30,70.

Same thing here: http://www.meteopistoia.it

It seems a mix between Desktop page and mobile page.
Any idea to fix it?

I think it’s because Jachym is planning on making the Desktop page responsive. My page works fine on a desktop but on my iPad in portrait the first column is displayed followed by the second column underneath. When I turn to landscape and refresh the page, my desktop layout displays as I intended. This was annoying as the two columns were intended to be viewed side by side. I’ve now rejigged my desktop page so that in this situation the most important details show up in the left column, ie at the top.

I do hope Jachym retains the ability to choose between desktop and mobile layouts as I find the standard mobile site too simplistic.

I am also having the same issue. I have now the three columns set as 20,49,20 and saved the layout as a named layout, but it still reverts to one column for the first few blocks then two for the bottom of the page. I think it has something to do with cookies on my PC, as when I look at it when in the office it displays with 3 columns as it should. Also in the main set up I have DB and display units set to mph for wind and inhg for pressure but its showing km/h and hpa.

Personally, I deleted the Block Earthquakes and everything and returned to normal, you can still give it a try.
