I'm seeing something fishy with this plugin on my site
http://www.sanfordweather.com//meteo/pl ... /index.php
I've data going back to mid 2010 but only seem to see a wee bit on the right in the graphs?

Also if you look at the first line in the table it shows an entry for 1969 which I can not find when I look in my database??

Confused, which can be normal for me :? :?

FIXED, found the error in the database and removed the 1969 entry, all good now!

I see missing datas in the graph for the first 6 months of the year:
Go to:

https://meteo.dubler.com/plugins/tempAn ... alysis.php

and select "365 days"

(The datas ARE there in the database, look at the table at the bottom of the page!)

Hi

In my opinion this is a very nice and important plugin to see temperature dynamics against the normal.

The first analysis focuses on a balance (running average on different time periods) where you can see whether it was relatively cold or warm during a pre-specified time period (7d,30d,60d, etc). Assuming you have data available since January 2016, a 365-day balance (graph) cannot start earlier than January 2017 (b/c it will take a year to have enough data for that analysis). Same is true for other periods like the 182-day balance, here the analysis (graph) will start in July 16. In general, the same logic is applied here as for the balance within precipitation analysis.

Looking e.g. at sanford weather, I see at first glance that there was a relativ cold period from april 13-april 15. I also see the dynamics very well.

2nd analysis the running yearly average. This analysis allows to compare (on a yearly basis) against other years and normals. Looking e.g. at meteo dubler we see that the year 2017 started much colder than 2016, however high temperature from mid Feb to end of march could catch up the year 2016. Both 2016 and 2017 are well above the normal.
This could lead to valuable information when comparing different years. In the case of sanford weather (with a lot of data available in the past) a different scaling (x-axe tighter, y-axe higher) could help to gain an overview. Alternatively a table grid could also help.

Happy to share your opinions.

Marc
