Re: Tide Height (tides) block (SOLVED)
Hi Simon Here it is the tidesBlock for Bournemouth with an "e" :-) tidesborn.PNG Please test it and let me know if anything else needs to be done. There are many possible layouts for the data but this layout is the one that takes less space for 3 day tides. Tide times are show in BST but p...

Re: Tide Height (tides) block (SOLVED)
Trust the Brits to be different! Confirmed! Good news Simon! I managed to get the first of the daily tides!!!! Now it is just a matter of patience and time to get the rest by looping through the dates and automate the change between UTC or BST time. I am not a php expert so all my work ...

Re: Tide Height (tides) block (SOLVED)
I’d be very interested in trying this block, set for Bournemouth UK for three days ahead. Hi Simon. When I was trying to customize my tidesBlock for your location... surprise!!! Bournmouth is one of the South England locations that doesn't have the regular pattern of 4 (or 3) tides a day, like we h...

Re: Tide Height (tides) block (SOLVED)
Hi all, I notice the Tide Height (tides) block is no longer working. Can anyone else confirm whether their tides block is working, and whether I should delete it? Yes, tides block has stopped working more than one year ago and Jachym deleted it. It stopped working due to changes in html source. I t...
Re: Tides
Same problem here  I have been cheking the link that the tidesBlock.php uses to parse tide times, and it seems ok, but... it has a different "look" from the page that they had when Jachym wrote the script. This change in page layout is probably the reason why the script isn't working ...

Thanks for a simple solution. My ISP came up with the following which is working fine: curl "http://elgheko.us/mtp/update/update.php?password=abc123" So I have dropped the cron-job.org cronjob and will use what my ISP came up with. He tells me he totally forgot about the curl usage and we...

Re: warningsEUregions data incorrect
Hi, the problem is that they have website and XML feed. Meteotemplate uses their XML feed and very often that feed is not updated or shows nonsense. And as we have seen in the past, it "fixes itself" once they update it or correct it. Given this is the only centralized EU warning webpage,...

Anyone else with the same problem? I am having the same problem for the last 3 or 4 days and it didn't correct yet. It shows warnings for all 25 regions in Portugal, and for those regions that have no current warnings (showed in green) it shows "rain warning". Clearing cache is not solvin...

Well, I see what you mean, and that is a very specific problem to mess things even more
Anyway, I've just sent you a PM with an outlookBlock.php for you to test. It parses directly from US units. Please check the values you get and let me know the result.

Re: Outlook block
Well, I may be wrong , but API key has nothing to do with lat and long, and that is why in the outlookBlock script you have to state what latitude and longitude you want to get the data from. API key is just for them to make sure that you do not exceed a certain maximum number of requests per day. $...
