Need Help in how to add missing Data

The situation:
Software update (operation system) on my Mac (= the computer that is running the weather software WheaterCat, collecting the data from VantagePro2, sending it via API to Meteotemplate's MySQL Database). System offline for one hour or more during the update.

The problem:
After the update process all systems are back, WeatherCat (or whatever software you are using) collects the missing data from the Davis Data Logger, so with my homeoffice Mac I am back in business - all data available. Not so with Meteotemplate.

How to:
Is there an easy way to add this missing data to MySQL - coolest way would be automatical ? What to do on my side?

I think this issue is not only happening to me, some hours of offline data transfer will happen to everyone some day. So what do you folks think about this one?

Hi,

solution is relatively simple, use the corresponding monthly log file and in the import check "skip existing", it will fill the gap and then reformat the db.

I have the same need but WeeWx doesn't generate monthly logs! Only a monthly summary.
I seem to recall that someone (Luc maybe) wrote and extension to the WeeWx - Meteotemplate driver that could do it, but I've never been able to find it!

The last upgrade my hosting company did cause me a 40 hour outage of my site.

I cannot tell about WeeWx, I never used this SW, but there should be a way given people use the data import feature with WeeWx

Where to find the corresponding monthly log file (there must be two, otherwise they can't correspond)? Within Meteoteplate? And if I find the file - where to click "Import" and how to reformat the database? The solution is not relatively simple, at least not for me.

I think for things like this there should be a step-by-step manual available. Or am I alone the stupid one?

I wrote a data export utility for weewx which produces (year) csv files to import in MT.
The project got on hold because Matthew Wall was very busy that period. I will have a look at it the coming weeks.
