New member from Belgium...

Hello,

I am Marc from Antwerp, Belgium, i am a weatherenthusiast since 1990, my first contact with weather was a station a bought in a Makro-store wich in the time costed me a hefty 10.000 BEF (250 €) It was a pain in the ... to get it working on my Apple but it lasted till 2004. Then a switched to a Oregon wich was already better and gave more info, the Weather Display soft opened up a whole new world and from then on the bug was really loose . For my wedding i got a Davis Pro Plus II and that was the beginning of a more professional site wich started with the Saratoga-template, before that i had a single-page website wich was quite popular in my hometown.

Marc since you mentioned Saratoga and Leuven - do you have any idea about Leuven´s future? I remember Wim was releasing a new version about every half a year. I even remember reading there will be a new one in fall 2015, but there hasnt been anything since then. Any ideas about his plans? I´m just curious because it seemed a bit strange to me all the updates suddenly stopped and AFAIK he never posted anything about this.

Ik heb voorheen ook de Saratoga en Leuven templates gehad, maar sinds Meteotemplate heb ik beide weer verwijderd.

I must admit that is already a long time ago since i heard from him, i am going to check it out and return to you!
Checked it out and it seems that he is stuck on version 2.8b, it seems alsqo he has major problems with his server...

I don't think I'll reply like Luc as language starts to fade after a long time, but still have memories of visiting Antwerpen after short train ride from Heist op den Berg (Station).

Thank you all for your kind words! I am retiring by the end of the year and hope to finish my "blitzortung" project with a 500 km radius antenna (!), when my health is back up again and spring is in the air, wait for it!!
