Hello everybody,
My name is Pol-Brieuc, I'm a Frenchguy living in Spain since 2008.
I got a Fineoffset WH1080 for my birthday in 2016 and started with a simple website right away.
I initially chose a template named weatherblue (the old version of my site is still available here ) but while searching for a way to make it responsive, I found Metetemplate and realized that this template was way more powerful (and visually nicer).
I switched my website www.elspinars.es to Meteotemplate two days ago and I am still selecting blocks and plugins to get the right mix of content.
My station is on a pole in my garden in Vallirana, a small town 20km from Barcelona in Spain.
I maintain my website as a personal project, it's the opportunity for me to learn new stuff about meteorology in general, but also about php, css and webdesign.
I use Cumulus to send the data to the website and also to feed my twitter account with the latest conditions
For the spanish members reading this, there is a very active community of amateurs (some experts actually) meteorologists in my region (Baix de Llobregat), with a facebook page where they publish their own forecast on a daily basis, along with models, observations and special events coverage (like when it snow, which does not happen often) : La Meteo del Baix de Llobregat
Feel free to have a look at my site and send me your recommendations/comments/feedbacks.
Cheers,
Pol-Brieuc
